Type 2 submunition
This is an aerially-delivered, shaped charge cluster munition. The bomb is impact-inertia fired. The intended target of these bomblets was parked aircraft. The bomb body is painted black, with a yellow band around the center. There may also be Japanese characters stenciled in white on the bomb body.
