The BL-755 bomblet is a British developed submunition intended for use with the BL-775 cluster bomb. The bomblets are exerted into the armed configuration as the exit the cluster bomb and disperse. Expulsion from the bomb causes a pin from the clockwork arming mechanism to be removed, partially arming the bomblet. Drag force from the submunition's descent completes the arming process.
