50 Browning

SAA
Hardware available
United States of America

The 50 Browning (12.7×99) cartridge dates back to the late 1910s when it was developed for the 0.50 inch Browning M2 heavy machine gun (HMG). Many, many round natures have been developed in this calibre by many different countries, far too many to be covered by a single entry. Though normally percussion-fired (Berdan or Boxer), electrically fired versions have been developed for some guns and disrupters.
