Type 256 (SNEB)
The Type 256 is 68 mm air-to-surface anti-personnel folding fin aerial rocket (FFAR) that is part of the SNEB (Société Nouvelle des Établissements Edgar Brandt) family of rockets. The Type 256 is armed with the externally scored, cast iron-cased Type 26 high explosive fragmentation (HE-frag) warhead and a Type 25 series rocket motor. A practice version of the Type 26 was also produced, its warhead painted light blue.
