Type 52 HE (57 mm)
The Type 52 is a 57 mm high explosive fragmentation (HE-frag) round that was developed for the (Communist) Chinese Type 52 recoilless rifle, a further development of the Republic of China (later Taiwan) Type 36 model, which was itself a copy of the US M18. Though the Type 52 HE is similar to prior Chinese copies of the US M308 HE-frag series, it uses a different fuze and is of a different construction.
