53-D-832 (six-fin)
The 53-D-832 (53-Д-832) is an 82 mm white-phosphorous (WP) filled smoke mortar bomb. The bomb uses a steel adapter, which is screwed into its nose well, that holds small high explosive burster. The 53-D-832 and its six-fin tail stabiliser unit are based on those of the 53-O-832 high explosive fragmentation bomb. The 53-D-832 is normally seen marked up with its short-form designation of D-832 (Д-832), and not its full GAU/GRAU index code.
