The YM-I is a plastic-cased, scatterable, anti-personnel blast (APB) mine. The YM-I is a direct copy of the Italian TS-50 APB mine (see separate entry). The YM-I mine features a pneumatic fuzing mechanism, making it highly resistant to impact and explosive countermeasures.
