The VS-50 is a mechanical, scatterable, pressure-operated, anti-personnel blast (APB) mine very similar in appearance to the Italian TS-50. The VS-50 mine uses a fuze that incorporates a pneumatic- (bladder-) system, which makes it blast-resistant.
