Type 66 (APDF Mine)
The Type 66 is an anti-personnel (AP) directional-fragmentation (DF) mine very similar to the US M18A1 Claymore. The mine has a claimed lethal fragmentation range of 50 meters. The US Claymore has been widely copied and it is often difficult to distinguish between models. The mine may well have been used in other regions, but mistaken for a different version. The plastic casing features a convex face housing approximately 700 ball-bearings....
