The Truppmina 11 is a bounding fragmentation mine. The mine can be initiated by direct pressure or pull on a tripwire. The upper surface of the sheet-steel mine casing has an offset threaded (primary) fuze well and a threaded igniter well that is sealed with a slotted plug.
