Shawaz (Arabic: شواظ), also known as ‘Showoz’ or ‘Shuath’, are a series of off-route anti-tank mines, produced and used by the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas, along with Iranian proxy groups. There is believed to be eight top-level models that have been developed, with further variants within these. However only limited variants have been seen deployed in Gaza.
