PM-43
The VS-86 is an anti-personnel fragmentation mine. This mine is still available for service with the Finnish Army. The mine is initiated using tripwire-actuated fuzes. The mine body is normally mounted to a tree with the fuze pointing downwards to keep the tripwire close to the ground. When the main charge detonates, the mine body shatters creating an uneven cloud of fragmentation.
