The MKTBT is an unusually large anti-tank mine. This mine is found in small numbers in Kosovo. The mine accepts a simple mechanical pressure fuze copied from the Russian MV-5. This fuze uses a spring-loaded striker retained by a single ball bearing and is threaded to accept a detonator assembly. Unlike the Russian version, the tip of the striker is rounded and the detonator is percussion rather than stab-sensitive.
