M79 Practice Mine
The M79 was an inert practice mine that emulated both the M74 anti-personnel and the M75 anti-tank mines. The M79 was used for training with the Ground Emplaced Mine Scattering System (GEMSS) M128 and M138 mine dispensers. The M79 was withdrawn from the US Army and replaced by the Ground Volcano.
