M18A2
The M18A2 is a 'Claymore' type directional fragmentation mine which closely resembles the US M18A1. This mine is currently in production. Two detonator wells are incorporated on the top of the mine body, allowing mines to be linked together using a detonator cord. On detonation, 770 steel fragments are projected in a horizontal arc to a lethal range of 50m and an effective range of 100m.
