The K440 is a anti-personnel (AP) direction-fragmentation (DF) mine, which is similar to the US M18A1 'Claymore' mine, though slightly smaller. The K440 is no longer thought to be in production, but is believed to be deployed in the Korean Demilitarised Zone (DMZ).
