EC-2
The EC-2 is a 'Claymore' type AP fragmentation mine, similar to the US M18A1. Currently in service with the Chilean Armed Forces. The mine is intended for command detonation and is issued with a No 8 detonator, Nonel cable, 3-minute delay timer and a hand-held Nonel initiator. Upon detonation, the fragments in the front face of the mine are projected in a horizontal arc, with an effective lethal range of 16m.
