This is a large obsolete AT mine. The case is made in two halves. The upper section holds the screw-booster and the fuze assembly whilst the lower section holds the main Pentolite (PETN/RDX) charge. A pressure plate is fitted to the top of the mine, this increases the force needed to initiatiation. If this pressure plate is missing, the mine can be triggered by the weight of a person. Anti-tank blast. Formerly in service with the Chilean Army....
