Dual Tone Multi Frequency (DTMF) Boards have the following functions: Receive command codes from cell phone or Push-to-talk (PTT) Radios Decodes signals sent in DTMF (audible key tons) Can be used as an arming mechanism to activate additional devices (PIR, pressure plate, etc.) Can be used as a direct fire device. Recognised by the presence of a DTMF decoder chip and crystal oscillator.
