The VP-9 (ВП-9) fuzing system is used by the PG-9 series of projectiles that form part of the PG-9V (ПГ-9В) and PG-15V (ПГ-15В) series of rocket-boosted anti-armour rounds. The VP-9 fuzing system was adopted in 1963, its GRAU index code 7V5 (7В5). The PG-9V rounds are fired by the SPG-9 (СПГ-9) series of 73 mm smoothbore recoilless anti-tank guns.
