The 'MS-5' (its true designation unclear) is a Chinese mechanical time (MT) fuze for use with high explosive fragmentation (HE-frag) anti-aircraft (AA) projectiles Though intended for AA use, the 'MS-5' can be used to air-burst suitable HE-frag projectiles over targets when they are fired directly or indirectly.
