The M607 is a pressure-actuated tilt-rod fuze used with the M21 AT mine. The fuze incorporates a Belleville spring-loaded firing pin, tilt-rod (optional), pressure ring and fragile plastic collar. The use of a tilt-rod allows for the fuze to be activated by side thrusts as well as direct downwards pressure. Once armed, sufficient force on the fuze will cause the plastic collar to shatter.
