M548 (MTSQ Fuze)
The M548 is a US-developed, mechanical time and superquick (MTSQ) fuze, which features a spring-driven clockwork time mechanism and a nose impact mechanism. The M548 is known to be used with spin-stabilised carrier (cargo and cluster) projectiles, which includes 4.2-inch mortar, and 105 mm and 155 mm artillery projectiles.
