M218 and M224
Spin armed delay fuzes used with obsolete US submunitions. Fuzes are externally identical, distinguished from M219 and M219E1 impact fuzes by the flat top of the fuze housing. Once armed by high spin, function is by spring-loaded rotor vanes turning against gel-filled sachet. May be in an extremely hazardous condition and sensitive to movement when failed.
