The M1 was WW2-era, United States Army (US Army) developed mechanical, munition release-armed, inertial-based, nose impact fuze. The M1 was used with the AN-M69 6 lb incendiary bomb. It is not clear if the M1 is used in the AN-M69X and AN-M67 incendiary bombs.
