El.Z. 50
This is an antidisturbance bomb fuze that is fully armed between three to five minutes after impact. The fuze functions in reaction to vibrations, normally those created by adjacent bomb detonations. The designation "El. Z." stands for "Elektrischer Sonderzunder" or electrical special fuze. There are several variants of the 50 series fuze as indicated by the markings on the fuze head. These include: 50, 50B, and 50Y.
