The AN-M102A2 is a US-developed, World War Two (WW2) era, bomb tail fuze, which uses a vane-driven arming system. The AN-M102A2 is a further development of the AN-M102A1 model, which differed from the earlier model in that it reduced the number of arming vanes to four, and the thread pitch on the arming stem to 16 double threads. The AN-M102A2 was used with 1,000, 2,000, and 4,000 lb weight class aerial bombs.
