The AL PR ID (Allumeur a Pression Indetectable) 59 is a pressure fuze used in mines such as the French Mi AP DV 59 and the 'Piquet' series of mines. Pressure on the fuze pushes a coated plastic spigot into an inverted cone lines with a pyrotechnic composition; this results in a high energy flash, which is channeled into the detonator capsule.
