The AB 52 is 1950s-era developed French pull (tension) mine fuze. The AB 52 designation is short for 'allumeur à bascule Modèle 1952', quite literally 'igniter by rocker Model 1952'. The AB 52 is normally used with the MI AP MT BON 51 anti-personnel bounding fragmentation (APBF) mine.
