The Swedish DWS 39 is a 'Glide Dispenser' similar to the German DWS 24. The DWS 39 is a large pod which is dropped from the parent aircraft and uses inertial navigation to reach a target up to 10km away, at which point the submunitions are ejected horizontally from both sides of the dispenser.
