M1 Firing Device, Chemical Delay
The M1 is a chemical delay firing device with six different initiation times, ranging from three minutes to 23 days depending on the model and the prevailing temperature. Models can be identified by coloured strips inserted through the body - black, red, white, green, yellow, and blue. As an example, a white-coloured strip chemical pencil has a detonation range of between six minutes to 1.3 days, depending on temperature.
