PGU-14/B API
The PGU-14/B are a series of US armour piercing incendiary (API) 30 mm (30×173) rounds, which are fitted with a depleted uranium (DU)-cored API projectiles. The rounds are fired from the General Electric GAU-8/A Avenger 30 mm hydraulically driven seven-barrel Gatling cannon, mounted on the USAF A-10 Thunderbolt II aircraft.
