M54A1 (HE-T-SD)
The M54A1 was a fixed, 37 mm, nose-fuzed, high explosive tracer self-destruct (HE-T-SD) cannon round, or simply HE in US terminology of the time. The M54A1 HE-T-SD round was used by 37 mm M1 series of anti-aircraft guns and the M9 (AN-M9) aircraft cannon.
