The PRANK is a booby trap mechanism designed to initiate mines and demolition charges by either pressure gain or release. The assembly consists of a pressure plunger, spring-loaded striker housed in a plastic tube, MUV-2 type lead-shear delay mechanism, and an 'Apex' detonator.
