The M117A3 is a 750 lb (340 kg)-class bomb that may be classed as a demolition, or general purpose (GP) bomb. The M117A3 is thought to be a slight variant of the the M117A2, differing in that it is filled with Tritonal high explosive and not Minol (Minol II). The M117A3 is the last known model in the M117 series.
