The M117A2 is a 750 lb (340 kg)-class bomb that may be classed as a demolition, or general purpose (GP) bomb. The M117A2 is a slight variant of the the M117A1, differing in that it is filled with Minol (Minol II) high explosive and not Tritonal. The only variant of the M117A2 is the the M117A1E1.
