Unidentified men bombed a 138-kilovolt tower of National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) in Manarapan village, Carmen Town, North Cotabato late October 3, causing power outages in parts of the province, Cotabato City and Maguindanao province. No one claimed responsibility for the attack but the province is being frequently harassed by the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters.
