An army officer and a conscript were killed when an explosive device went off targeting an army armoured vehicle in north Sinai. The blast also left another conscript injured. Private website Al-Youm Al-Sabi quoted a security source on 15 February as saying that the explosive device was planted by the roadside in southern El-Arish.
