On January 12, near Loi Jau Bum outpost in Mansi township (Bhamo, Kachin), Myanmar army troops based at Man Dat reportedly fired one 105 mm mortar round towards KIA position defended by its 27th Battalion troops under 3rd Brigade. Number of injuries not reported.
