On 24 October 2019, an IED planted by unidentified gunmen in the vehicle of a pro-Turkish Al Mu'tasim Brigade fighter operating as part of Operation Peace Spring detonated, wounding the fighter who later succumbed to his wounds. Fatalities coded to 1.
