On or before November 11, 2019, Islamic State militants targeted an armored vehicle with an explosive device at the Musalah military checkpoint south of Sheikh Zuweiyid (Rafah, North Sinai), killing and injuring an unknown number of soldiers on board while damaging the vehicle. Unknown fatalities coded as 3 owing to vehicle capacity.
