On August 10, an IED presumably planted by Ansar Dine militants struck an armored MINUSMA vehicle about 800m from Kidal, no casualities, although the vehicle was damaged, in reaction to the detonation the peacekeepers opened fire on a group of four NGO workers near Kidal, wounding some of them.
