At least 55 people were killed (including a bomber) and 100 wounded in a suicide car attack at a military camp in the northern city of Gao in Mali. The area houses government soldiers and armed groups who conduct mixed patrols under a UN-brokered peace deal aimed at curbing violence in the region. The perpetrators were Al Mourabitoun allied with AQIM. In mid-Feb MINUSMA revised the death toll down from 77 to 54. SVBIED
