One INGO staff member was killed as a result of a Al-Shaabab attack on the Naso Hablod hotel in Mogadishu. The staff member was standing across the street when the initial blast from the VBIED occurred at the entrance to the hotel. He died as a result of his injuries as did 14 other people. Twenty-five civilians were also injured in the attack.
