On 15 September 2019, a VBIED exploded near Ar-Ra'ee hospital on the highway connecting Ar-Ra'ee and Al Bab in Aleppo. The explosion resulted in the killing of 11 people, including 2 children and 2 women, and the wounding of several other people, as well as damage to the hospital's building and furniture.
