A FISHERMAN pulled in an unexploded WWI Grenade from the Swan River in Applecross early Tuesday morning. Defence personnel, the bomb squad and police were called in to the 2am discovery, closing a section of the river around the Applecross Jetty. The unexploded ordnance was a 1915 German Wurth Grenade that had no fuse.
