Mortar Bomb event in Mykolaiv Oblast, Bashtanka area, Ukraine on Fri 25th May 2018

On May 25, the SES pyrotechnics neutralized 5 artillery shells of 76 mm caliber from the past wars. A 82 mm mortar was discovered by a local resident while excavating in the open air in Bashtanka. And near the village of Troitsko-Safonovo of Kazankiv district, during grazing on the territory of the abandoned farm, the man found 3 artillery shells of 76 mm caliber. During a further survey of the territory, a group of pyrotechnic works found 2 more artillery shells. All ammunition is destroyed by controlled blasting at a special landfill.
