On 07 October 2019, Turkish forces fired 2 shells on a group of people attempting to enter Turkish territory from an unidentified area along the Syrian-Turkish border, opposite Khanki village, coded to Ras Al Ain area in Al-Hasakeh. The shells fell in a unpopulated area. Neither injuries nor fatalities were reported.
