Pyrotechnic units of the SES of Ukraine carry out work on the survey of the territory of the city with the purpose of detecting and removing explosive objects from times of past wars. So, on May 24, the Rescue Service 101 received a message that in the Shevchenkivskyi district of the capital, on the Vladimir summit, during excavation work, workers discovered an artillery shell of World War II. A group of pyrotechnic works from the 1st Special Center for Rapid Response and Humanitarian Demining revealed that the ammunition was removed and destroyed at the landfill. Since the beginning of the year, 371 explosive items from World War II have been seized and destroyed in Kyiv.
