Projectile event in Zhytomyr Oblast, Bilylivka area, Ukraine on Tue 22nd May 2018

On May 22, a group of pyrotechnic works from the Directorate of the SES of Ukraine in Zhytomyr Oblast destroyed 2 explosive objects from the past wars. Both findings were discovered in the Ruzhyn district. The first call was recorded in Nemirivka village. In the center of the settlement, the area around the local reservoir was cleared. The tractor threw 2 metal objects, similar to military ammunition, outside. After examining the findings, the men decided to call the rescuers. DSNS specialists who arrived at the scene identified the artifacts as artillery shells of 100 mm caliber from the past wars. Another report of the detection of explosive objects came to the Rescue Service 101" from the village of Bilylivka in the same area. During the land works on his own plot the man dug an identical artillery. The destruction of the detected ammunition occurred at the landfill by detonation."
